Agreement
These terms are between you and Emerald Infinite. By creating an account you agree to them. You must be 18 or older.
Authorization to test
You may only scan apps, domains, APIs, repositories and backends you own or have written permission to test. For each target you represent that you have that authority, and we record your attestation. You must complete ownership verification before any non-passive test. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from targets you were not authorized to test.
Acceptable use
You agree to our Acceptable Use Policy and Responsible Scanning Policy. Prohibited uses include scanning third parties, using findings to attack anyone, evading verification, and load or denial-of-service testing.
Active and write tests
Active and write tests are off by default. If you enable them, especially on production, you accept that automated tests can have side effects despite our safeguards (throttling, circuit breakers, canary cleanup). We recommend testing a staging copy.
No guarantee
Automated testing finds common and high-impact issues. It can't prove an app is secure and isn't a substitute for a professional penetration test. Results are provided “as is”. Liability findings are risk signals, not legal advice.
Subscriptions
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. See Subscription Terms and Refund Policy. You can cancel online at any time from Settings → Billing.
Your content
You keep ownership of your data. You grant us a license to process it only to provide the service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for damage resulting from active or write tests you enabled on production after our warnings. (Pending counsel review.)
Termination
We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, including immediately for unauthorized scanning.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
